Buyer is not responding to my emails. What do I do?

Please allow 5 days for the buyer to respond to any communication you have with them. Make sufficient attempts to contact them by sending a couple of friendly emails. It may pay to check your spam or junk folders in case any emails have slipped into those folders.

By bidding on a listing on handshake and having the winning bid, the buyer is obligated to go through with the trade.

We recommend you give the buyer sufficient opportunity to rectify the situation before feedback is placed.

If you choose to take the matter further you can file a dispute with the Disputes Tribunal for a small cost. Handshake will provide the Tribunal with any information required only after we receive a direct request from the Tribunal.
